Honey Lake Plantation Resort and Spa puts special emphasis on spiritual retreats. The plantation's owner, entrepreneur Bob Williamson, author of the highly successful autobiography, Miracle on Luckie Street, is often available to share his testimony at such events and recount how God transformed his life from being a homeless, penniless, drug-addicted alcoholic to a well-respected family man, successful businessman, and pillar of society.
The centerpiece of the plantation is its church, which overlooks pristine Honey Lake. It's an ideal place to
conduct worship services, delve into Bible studies, and have fellowship. The church is graceful and beautiful, with its 22-foot coffered ceiling, 100- year-old pews, 14-foot antique stained-glass windows (the oldest in all of Florida), and 56-foot steeple with an enormous two-inch-thick antique brass bell. The entire back of the church offers stunning views of Honey Lake through its three massive windows adorned with three pecky cypress crosses.
If it's solitude that you desire, then look no further. The Plantation offers miles and
miles of peaceful hiking trails adorned with wildflowers, tall pines, and centuries-old 
stately oaks; and the entire
plantation is teeming with wildlife. Nowhere is God's
